The AcuTrials® Database is a comprehensive database of randomized controlled
trials and systematic reviews of acupuncture published in the English language.
The database is compiled primarily from PubMed, the Cochrane Library and the
Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) library. The database currently
contains entries from 1974 – 2018.
AcuTrials® was created for practitioners, students, and researchers interested in
discovering current and past acupuncture research trials. The database was
consistently updated by the Research Department at OCOM until 2018. OCOM has
closed (as of 2024) and the AcuTrials database is currently being hosted here by
the TARA project. Entries post 2018 will be added in the future by the TARA project staff
